Airport Security

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) was formed immediately following the tragedies of September 11, 2001. The TSA is part of the Department of Homeland Security and is responsible for security of the nation’s transportation systems.

At North Central West Virginia Airport the TSA is responsible for the security checkpoint. Questions pertaining to prohibited items, traveling with liquids, and traveling with children may be found on their website.
