The Harrison Marion Regional Airport may soon be taking off with a new name.

In about a month they've hired a new marketing director, advertising firm, a new air carrier and approved to change their name to North Central West Virginia Airport.

At yesterdays meeting Benedum Airport Authority Member James Christie made a motion to change the name to represent all area customer.

And if they reach their goal of 10,000 thousand customers they'll receive a million dollars of federal "improvement" money from the government.

With Colgan Air joining forces May first they'll have 3 flights a day to Pittsburgh with prices below $200.
